I’ve asked eight people whether they play it or not, and what their opinion of it is. Five out of the eight said it was relaxing and stressful, but relaxing more than the latter. One person said it was relaxing all the time, but another said it was stressful all the time. Why is that?
Well, as a Minecraft player myself, I think it can be both. During the times that it’s relaxing, I’m usually building or exploring while on peaceful difficulty and/or creative mode. When it’s stressful, I’m in survival mode and have it on the easy or normal difficulty.
Minecraft has a lot of freedom that comes with it; you can build, destroy things, mine, kill mobs and villagers, and you can blow stuff up. It’s a very fun game, and a lot of people around the world play it. If you’re in survival, playing with friends, and trying to get to the Nether and defeat the Ender Dragon, it is 100% stressful. There are a lot of factors in the game that make it stressful, and defeating the Ender Dragon is just one of many. But, the relaxing factors balance it out.
Playing with friends, designing a house, blowing up a village, setting fire to a friend’s house as a joke, exploring amethyst caves. These are all factors that make it relaxing and fun rather than stressful. Being able to find a game that is relaxing can be hard; it all depends on what you are interested in and what helps you blow off steam. While there are many other relaxing games, this one is the subject of one of the most argued debates.
Anyone who plays Minecraft is a part of that debate, but they can easily get out of it simply by voicing their opinion. Of course, the other person in that debate will want to continue arguing, but after they’ve voiced their opinion, it doesn’t really matter anymore.Minecraft can’t really be categorized as relaxing, nor stressful. It’s just a fun game that people play to show off their creative and adventurous side. On that note, Minecraft is what the person playing thinks or feels it is, not what someone on the internet says.
